Medication Supervision
Homecare Angels’ aides will assist in supervising or prompting your loved ones to take their medication as recommended.
Homecare Angels Provides Medication Supervision and Reminders
Did you know that taking medications incorrectly is a common cause of hospital admissions? Our caregivers will keep an eye on your loved one’s medications and remind them when it’s time to take them.
In addition to that, if needed, our caregivers are trained by our registered nurses in medication administration for a more comprehensive plan of care. We can also provide glucose monitoring and insulin administration if needed.
Some of the medication supervision services we offer include:
- Ensuring medication is taken by the prescribed dosage and at the proper time
- Setting up an organizational pillbox to help with medication management
- Logging/reporting medication intake
